Email Marketing - The Content Code has Been Cracked

Working in the Internet Marketing arena during the past five years, it has been difficult for me not to notice the work of Michael Rasmussen and his deserved progress up the marketing and promotion success ladder. He has always appeared to me to be one of the more genuine of 'Marketing Gurus' , and his websites often offer free and useful resources which become very popular amongst the millions of 'eager to learn' entrepreneurs who are trying desperately to earn a decent living on the Intenet.

So it came as no surprise to me when, quite by chance, I came across Michael's latest project, aptly named "Michael Rasmussen's Email Promos Exposed", which is an audio and video training tutorial, of over an hour in duration, and explains very concisely how to write killer email promos that get results.

Well I have to admit that my recent email campaigns have not been so fruitful, even though I do take care to apply the ideas I have learned in the past, when constructing my email content. So when I noticed Mr. Rasmussen was responsible for this new product, I thought it would certainly be worth a look.

To be honest I was watching 'Cops' on Court TV (my favorite program) and decided to take a quick peek at "Email Promos Exposed" during one of the many commercial breaks. Anyone who knows me well will tell you that I don't like to be distracted from 'quadruple Cops' on a Wednesday evening, and yet, there I was, my favorite program had restarted, and I couldn't pull myself away from the training video.

I ended up switching the TV off, and proceeded to spend the rest of the evening absorbed in the content of my new freebie, which incidently I watched, then watched again. I found it to be refreshingly well produced for a video tutorial, since many training videos I have seen on other subjects are often poorly presented, with a narration littered with gramatical errors and audio that sounds like it has been recorded in a public restroom.
This Email Promo Exposed tutorial held my attention beautifully and I decided to apply the tactics to a couple of email ads I was already using, and rewrite them, there and then.

Although I didnt get to bed til after 2.00am the following morning, I felt good about having replaced a couple of my stagnant email ads with improved, more powerful content. In my excitement, I ran a mailshot to my list before I retired to bed. Like most Internet marketers, I was impatient to see the results of my latest online efforts.

It was only after a few days had passed that I noticed the gradual upturn in sales of the products I had promoted from within my new emails. A few weeks later I was able to work out my percetage figures and I am extremely happy to report a 297% increase in my sales figures. I put this improvement down to the email writing tactics I learned from 'Michael Rasmussen's Email Promo Exposed' video tutorial.

Who said no-one gives you anything for free? Thanks Michael. I owe you...
