Private label rights (PLR) is a rapidly evolving e-commerce business model. PLR is essentially a process that allows users to download PLR products like articles, ebooks and software and then use the modified PLR products for various purposes. To better understand PLR, lets take an example. Lets assume an organization XYZ has hired copywriters to create articles on various topics. XYZ can make the articles available for download to its members at a fraction of the original costs. Depending on the TOS (terms of service) a user can claim authorship of the articles or use the articles after modifying the articles sufficiently.
